Beauty and Meaning in Art

Art is beautiful, it's a wonderful way to express yourself, your thoughts, your beliefs, things you are passionate about, what you love, and the list goes on.  Art is one amazing way others around you can know you and connect with you.  An artist can create a piece with a vague emotion that can come differently for each individual viewer, whereas in some art, the emotion portrayed is deep and strong, that feeling the piece carries is very similar to each individual who views the specific piece.  Art can show a deep hurt the artist has faced in the past, or perhaps the present, or a deep hurt that someone dear to them has experienced, but art can also show a great time of joy, happiness, laughter, and love that themselves or a loved one has experienced.  Art can be of meaningful things, people, animals, emotions, places, and thoughts from the artist, which allows for an audience to feel a sense of connection with the artist.  I personally love animals, and much of my art consists of animal and nature portraits, paintings, drawings, and such things, that my audience can know me as somebody who is passionate for animals and nature.
An artist can create a personal work of art meant only for a certain individual, like a friend, significant other, or family member, or perhaps a piece meant only for themselves to see.  A piece like this can be simple, like a cute personal gift, or it can be detailed in describing a deeper, more personal memory, thought, or experience the artist and the specific individual had together.  Art can be used to subtly or loudly express an opinion, and communicate your feelings toward someone or something.
Every artist creates for a reason, for some, it is their job, their living.  For others it is simply a hobby. And for others it might be something they wish to peruse in, as an illustrator, or a potential well known artist.  Others may create because it is therapeutic for them, and others because is a way of expressing themselves.  There are so many reasons to create and be an artist!  I personally got into art as a hobby, but soon it grew to be a passion of mine, a way to express myself and let my imagination run wild, it has become therapeutic in hard or stressful times, and something I have decided to peruse in.
